Library Offers Adult Winter Reading Challenge

Fredericksburg, Virginia, January 6, 2023 - Central Rappahannock Regional Library is offering its annual Winter Reading Challenge for adults January 1 through March 31, 2023. CRRL customers 16 or older can sign up at librarypoint.org/winter.

Similar to CRRL's Summer Reading program, participants can read books, write reviews, and complete activities to earn digital badges. Participants who log five or more books will receive a limited-edition cozy blanket, while supplies last.

Customers can also register and participate via the Beanstack Tracker App, available for Apple and Android. Once the app is installed, search for "Central Rappahannock Regional Library," then select the Adult Winter Reading Challenge. A video tutorial for signing up and participating is available from Niche Academy.

Participants can also join the library's Book Chat Facebook group to encourage other readers, share book reviews and photos, and enter weekly book giveaways. Over 2,000 readers read more than 10,000 books in last year's Winter Reading Challenge.
