This Summer the CLAMS libraries on Cape Cod and the Islands are hosting a passport. Pick one up here at the Jonathan Bourne Public Library and then take it with you as you explore the beautiful and historic libraries in the region. You can get a stamp for each library you visit.

The Buzz on Pollinators! Massachusetts is home to at least 365 species of native bees and a myriad of other pollinators. Each has unique requirements, behaviors, and seasonality. Come join our cardboard box drive-in! At home, build cardboard "cars" for you kids to sit in at the movie. You can repurpose delivery boxes for this craft. Bring them to the library and park them to watch the movie Migration.

Family Night in the Garden

Join us in the Children's Garden for “Trail Mix.” Step off the Beaten Path and into the Big Outdoors in this fun-loving Participatory Program with award-winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb.

 

We’ll go on a fossil dig in Montana to discover a new dinosaur and take on the world’s sassiest bugs all before we break out our lunch pails. 


Join in the stories, songs and FUN that have made Diane Edgecomb one of New England’s favorite storytellers.

Join musician Robert Markowitz for a concert in the Children's Garden.


Robert’s performances combine creative play and movement: often marching, jumping or dancing. One song mixes a bedtime lullaby with a rock and roll jumping song. In another, the ants go marching into a spider and then must duck and hide.

Scott Ouellette is a professional classical guitarist and composer from Rowley Massachusetts. Scott will be performing music from the Baroque period, Spanish and Brazilian music, as well as Latin-American and original guitar music.
