Join Children's Author and Illustrator Michael Hale for an awesome dinosaur themed event for kids! 

Author and Illustrator Michael Hale is back to celebrate his new book, Found: One Dinosaur. You won't want to miss this awesome event for the whole family at the library this summer!

Vista Grande Library: Monday June 12th from 11:30-12:30 p.m.

Come join us for a 1980's Karaoke Party for Tweens & Teens. Dress like the 80's if you like and come dance, have free drinks and snacks.  

Intended for Grades 6th-12th

Monday, June 12th from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the Vista Grande Library

Come into the Vista Grande Library and play a game of chess or learn how to play chess the second and fourth Monday of each month from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

The VG Chess Gathering is for players of all ages. Children 13 years and under will need to be accompanied by an adult, and age eight is recommended to be the youngest but not required.

Looking for local writers and current authors to join Inklings!

The group meets twice a month on the first and third Thursday of the month at the Vista Grande Library to peer critique works in progress as well as share information about getting published. Please bring up to 5 pages of a past or current piece of writing, double spaced, and a pen to critique

June 15th from 1:30-4:00 p.m.

Come join in on a new STEM project each Friday in June at the Vista Grande Library from 1:00-2:00 p.m. From creating musical instruments to making tiny dancers and other projects using wire and batteries, bubble blowers and creating soundwaves, there is something for everyone. Intended for grades

6th-12th. Registration is required.

Saturday Movie & Activity at the Main Library, June 10th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 

There's always something fun for kids to do on Saturdays at your Vista Grande Public Library. Come and experience everything from arts and crafts to board games and more! The fun starts at 10:00 a.m. and drop-in until noon! June 3rd through July 1st Saturdays.
