Businesswomen's Sunset Sail

Thursday, August 17 | 5 - 8 PM

Schooner Adventure - Maritime Gloucester

$55 members | $65 non-members


All are invited - women, men, members, non-members! Enjoy a spectacular sail aboard Schooner Adventure, one of Gloucester's oldest working vessels. Sail Gloucester Harbor and beyond, experience a glorious Cape Ann Sunset, and enjoy the company of colleagues. A light meal will be served including delicious sandwiches, chips, and cookies. The event is BYOB, so pack your own libations to enjoy on the sail! Water and soda will be provided on board.

All proceeds benefit the Carolyn M. O'Connor Scholarship Fund.

The 42nd Annual Waterfront Festival

Voted one of the TOP 200 Events in the Nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine!

Over 200 juried Artisans, Artists, Authors, Food Vendors and Musicians will display and sell their American made works.

The Rotary Club of Gloucester will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday from 7:30am to 11:00am.

The North Shore Old Car Club will display over 75 antique automobiles on Sunday.

Friendly pets on leashes are always welcome.

This Service is to remember and honor all of those who have lost their lives in the long history of Gloucester’s fishing industry. The Service starts with a procession from the American Legion, down Middle Street and onto Stacy Boulevard to the Fisherman’s Memorial statue. Trails & Sails is an event series that helps connect people to the special places, assets, stories, and initiatives throughout Essex County, Massachusetts. While the program has historically focused on outdoor recreation such as guided hikes and excursions on the water (hence the “trails” and the “sails”), over the years it has grown to include historic house tours, lectures, community celebrations, special exhibitions, craft demonstrations, and many other diverse activities.
