The Miami DDA provides clean and safe public restrooms and a dog waste station in Downtown Miami through its Pit Stop Program. The Pit Stop Program installed its first permanent free-standing restroom in 2018. Today, the Miami DDA is responsible for the operation of five Pit Stop locations located at the following sites:
- Bayfront Park – 301 Biscayne Boulevard – Hours of operation: 7:00AM to 7:00PM
- Maurice Ferre Park – 1075 Biscayne Boulevard – Hours of operation: 9:00AM to 6:00PM
- Government Street – 111 NW First Street – Hours of operation: 7:00AM to 7:00PM
- Third Street Station – South Miami Avenue between SW 2nd Street and SW 3rd Street (Third Street Mover Station) – Hours of operation: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
