Apply: Artadia Awards
The Artadia Award offers open-call applications in seven cities, focusing on equitable support with over 50% female and 40% people of color Awardees. Recipients receive financial support, a dedicated webpage in Artadia’s Artist Registry, and access to the Artadia Network for valuable connections and resource sharing. You must be a contemporary visual artist, making artwork for presentation in a contemporary art context: museum, galleries, arts non-profit, the public art realm, etc. Filmmakers making films are not eligible. Applicants must permanently live in eligible city for at least two years.
Current Eligible Cities: Boston and Atlanta
Deadline: Boston - September 15; Atlanta - October 1, 2024

Apply: The Generator Fund
The Generator Fund has two open grants Kinetic Grants and Potential Grants for artist or lead organizers in Erie or Niagara counties. Projects must be firmly based in or related to the visual arts. Kinetic Grants are to fund artist’s production for a new project with a publicly accessible component. Potential Grants are intended to act as seed funds to sustain novel, long-term platforms for artistic expression and experimentation that foster collaboration, dialogue, and discourse in our region.

Apply: Making Policy Public
Making Policy Public is CUP's open call program that invites organizers, advocates, and direct service providers to apply to create a free project that break downs a complex social justice issue, policy, or service into an easy to understand, visual explanation. Community organizations and designers respond to CUP's open call for Making Policy Public. A jury of visual designers and advocates use program criteria to select four community organizations’ and four visual designers/teams. Each project team collaborates over 5–12 months, depending on scope or format of the project. Advocates receive 1,000 free copies of the final project to distribute directly to their communities and networks. Designers receive an honorarium, depending on the scope of the project.

Honorarium: $4,000 - $7,000
