AN ENORMOUS THANK YOU TO DUEMANI!
We are deeply appreciative to Carlos, Jason, Darko, Chef Pak, Nick, and the entire front and back-of-house team for orchestrating a truly magical evening for our members and special guests. Their meticulous attention to detail and gracious hospitality exceeded our expectations in every way. What started as a request for 1 comped drink turned into an offering of 2 types of wine and 2 custom batched cocktails. Our simple ask for a few light bites on the bar transformed into an exquisite selection of fine dining passed canapés. The team's generosity knew no bounds as they extended the hours from 5-6:30 p.m. to the entire evening, topped off with an unexpected karaoke party in the private dining room. Olivia Daane
LivAspen Arts
Olivia received a B.A. From Vanderbilt University in 1992. She then studied with Syracuse University’s undergraduate and graduate programs in Florence, Italy followed by an apprenticeship with internationally-recognized artist Paul Harmon.
LivAspenArt Studio, Gallery, and Wellness Cafè is located at the base of Highlands Mountain and exhibits paintings, works on paper, sculpture, video, and sound installation and emerging works by artists living in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Olivia’s paintings have been exhibited by Opera Gallery Aspen since 2017. She is a painter(known for her butterfly series begun in 2008), art consultant, songwriter, wordsmith and mom. She has recently been appointed as a Global Solutions Committee member by the U.S. State Department. Olivia’s brand, Cocoon and Hive, brings you LIVBionic, America’s first FDA confirmed general wellness activewear brand powered by Nanobionic technology- improving circulation so you can work, perform, play, sleep and recover with energy to spare.

Margot is passionate about making all things complicated, simple. She is adaptable, eager to learn, and has a can-do attitude to foster growth by strengthening communications, anticipating obstacles, and encouraging inclusion.
Margot is currently a senior implementation specialist/project manager at Gusto,– a modern, online people platform that helps small businesses take care of their teams. However, she is looking to get more immersed in the valley and searching for a career in the valley that will fit her skill set.

Mari Frankel
Foster Shock Director
Mari Frankel directed the 'Foster Shock' documentary in 2016. 'Foster Shock' takes a first-hand look at what happens to children when they are taken from their abusive families and become dependents of the State of Florida. 'Foster Shock' examines Florida's 'privatized' foster care system.
Fun Tidbit: Mari's family owned a restaurant called The Shaft from 1967-87 and she has lived here on and off since she was 7!

Opening this Friday 'Home' will display the stirring results of a series of art sessions with high school students of South American descent that are new to the Roaring Fork Valley. These youth have often had harrowing journeys and border crossings to arrive here as strangers to new homes. They are mostly non-English speaking, coping with immersion and missing their families. Annually, The Art Base brings these new Basalt High students together to meet the other kids in similar situations, to share feelings or stories as they wish, through art, words, or just common company in a native tongue with an art teacher from Aspen's sister city Bella Luce, Argentina.
