Our mission is to empower families to foster resilience and prioritize mental health and emotional wellness in their children through educational programming, access to resources, and peer support.
Take a Real Break this Summer
Ahhh.... that's the sound of summer.

It's time for all of us to slow down and take a break, and that includes letting our kids enjoy some freedom and experience boredom. It leads to problem-solving, creativity, and personal growth, and all of that promotes good mental health.

We're going to take a break ourselves this summer after a busy school year and time spent looking ahead to the next one. We just wrapped up the second day of our annual summit - yes, that's Lisa Novak zooming in from a family trip - and are on track to bring you more programs, resources, and support opportunities

Until then, we are giving ourselves time to recharge but are here for anyone looking for information, referrals, or a soft place to land. #catchiscommunity

Parenting the Mental Health Generation
Hands Off! Let them do it! Playing is Learning!
Don’t worry about reading, writing, and ‘rithmatic for your young children.

During the pre-school years, they learn all they need to know from playtime.

In this episode of Parenting the Mental Health Generation, Amy and Lisa talk to Sue Carr, Director of Monona Grove Nursery School in Madison, WI, about the lessons that come from independent exploration with peers.

Parent Support Network
New! CATCH Conversations

Are your child's mental health struggles impacting you and your family? Are you wondering how to start finding help?

We recommend seeking support for yourself first with a CATCH Conversation.

Sign up and a CATCH volunteer will reach out to schedule a time to talk, meet for a cup of coffee, or go for a walk to give you a chance to share what is going on and learn how CATCH can support you.

If you are in need of therapeutic referrals, please reach out confidentially to
Parents Connect
Parents Connect

If you're asking, What else can I do to help my child with their mental health issues? The answer is: Find support for yourself!

Parents Connect groups are made up of 4 to 8 adults who are caring for children of similar ages.

We meet weekly to provide a place where people can share their experiences in a confidential setting. Learn more.
How do we do what we do?
With help from people like Linda Davis!
