CATCH GBN Mental Health Awareness Award
Attention GBN Seniors!
The CATCH Mental Health Awareness Award recognizes Glenbrook North High School Seniors and GBN seniors attending Glenbrook Off-Campus Center who have bravely put mental health first and meet one of the following criteria:

• worked to raise mental health awareness in their school and/or their community

• developed an understanding of the importance of mental health and emotional well-being through their own journey or by supporting a friend or family member
The winners will be announced and receive a monetary award at the Glenbrook North H.S. Honors and Awards Assembly on May 26, 2024.

Deadline: Applications are due Monday, April 15.
As this year is the first time CATCH is presenting this award, it is only available to GBN students. We look forward to expanding this opportunity to others in the coming years.
Parenting the Mental Health Generation
CATCH Podcast
When Glenbrook North High School delayed finals at the last-minute due to the weather, it launched a firestorm of anger aimed at the administration.

In response, student editors at the school newspaper took a stand that brought its own criticism.

In this episode of Parenting the Mental Health Generation, we meet the authors of that editorial, Avery Copeland and Kaitlyn Lu.

They share the backlash they faced and why they believe their peers need to "suck it up" in the face of adversity.
Find the CATCH podcast anywhere you get your podcasts.
Parenting the Mental Health Generation is also available on the CATCH YouTube Channel.
