Lender Bulletin 2023-6 REVISED:
NJHMFA Approved Flood Zone Determination Vendors
Effected Programs: All Programs
Effective Date: April 15, 2023
NJHMFA encourages all of our business partners and constituents to submit any and all documentation in an electronic format whenever possible as staff will continue to check email and review information submitted electronically.

´╗┐Attention Lenders:
NJHMFA Approved Flood Zone Determination Vendors
Revision: Our sub-servicer recently added four additional approved vendors. The bulletin below has been revised to include the full list.
In order to continually improve the service provided to NJHMFA homeowners, our sub-servicer has been evaluating their critical vendor relationships for flood zone determination tracking. It is important that these vendors ensure quality, establish consistent controls and provide frequent updates on flood zone and flood data changes.

To streamline the process of onboarding flood zone determination certificates and enhance the monitoring of flood zone changes, three approved vendors have been identified:
  1. Corelogic
  2. Servicelink
  3. CBC Innovis
  4. Flood Zone Determination Services
  5. Data Verify Flood Services
  6. Factual Data
  7. Kroll Factual Data
Effective April 15, 2023, all Lenders must use one of these approved flood zone determination vendors for first mortgage loans delivered to NJHMFA for purchase, regardless of the loan reservation date. Loans submitted for purchase that have flood zone determinations completed by unapproved vendors may no longer be eligible for purchase.
This change will have a very limited impact to our lenders, as only 1% of loans delivered to NJHMFA over the prior 6 months included a flood determination from a vendor other than Corelogic, Servicelink, CBC Innovis, Flood Zone Determination Services, Data Verify Flood Services, Factual Data, and Kroll Factual Data.
If a short-term solution is needed until full compliance can be implemented, please contact Single Family Lenders (SFLenders@njhmfa.gov) immediately to discuss procedures and associated costs.
