Generally requested to be remote (phone/Zoom/etc.)
In-person selectively allowed (most by appointment; limited drop-in opportunities)
 
Masks/Face Coverings
Wearing face coverings is required in all common areas/shared spaces, including elevators, hallways, stairs, restrooms, committee rooms, the Galleries, and the Chambers, regardless of vaccination status
 
Social Distancing
Assembly – Social distancing is no longer required in committee hearing rooms, the Assembly Gallery, or the Assembly Chamber.
 
Senate – Four to six-foot social distance will be maintained in the Senate Gallery and in committee hearing rooms. As demand increases for in-person attendance at hearings and floor proceedings, the seating capacity will be assessed and capacity increased. The Senate will continue to use overflow rooms for hearings.
 
Social distancing is encouraged in all common areas/shared spaces.
 
Elevators
Elevator capacity for the Capitol is now four (4) people per elevator at one time
 
Food and Drink
Basement cafeteria is open with limited food options
6th Floor Café remains closed
No food or drink allowed in committee hearing rooms or the Galleries
 
Note that the LOB at 1120 N Street remains closed to the public.
