PRO-BUSINESS LEGISLATION AWAITS HOUSE ACTION FOLLOWING UNANIMOUS VOTE IN THE SENATE
As Ohio’s budget deadline looms, the Ohio Senate yesterday advanced important legislation in support of the state’s business community. The legislation – House Bill 168 (HB 168) uses American Rescue Plan dollars to eliminate Ohio’s federal unemployment loan that has grown to nearly $1.5 billion.

PRIORITY FUEL FREEDOM BILL AWAITS GOVERNOR'S SIGNATURE
Thursday afternoon, House Bill 201 took its last step toward enactment when the Ohio Senate passed it by a 25-7 vote. HB 201 creates safeguards for commercial and residential energy users’ access to natural gas by preventing local government from limiting or banning the fuel sources.
