Sports Access to Be Heard Tomorrow

February 19, 2014

Sports access for homeschoolers will be heard in the Senate Education and Health Committee this Thursday, February 20!

If you support access to public school sports for homeschoolers, Delegate Rob Bell asks you to attend the hearing. He hopes to have a big crowd--some attendees to testify and others to show support by their presence. HB 63, the "Tebow bill," will be heard in Senate Room B in the General Assembly Building at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.

HB 63 passed the full House and now must navigate the Senate side. The make-up of the Senate Education committee has recently changed, making it more difficult to pass some types of legislation. If you want to show your support, but can't attend the hearing, you can call or e-mail your senator on the Senate Education Committee.
