Business Leaders Survey on Behalf of MBAE

We are asking C-suite executives, hiring managers, HR professionals, government affairs, and policy professionals to take a few minutes to complete an online survey about workforce, our education system, and the state’s economic competitiveness. Your insights are critical to effective advocacy on your behalf.

Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education and 30 to 40 other business groups from across the Commonwealth are joining to distribute this survey to employers and hope to gather input from companies of all sizes in all industries. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes of your time. Your answers will only be analyzed together with other responses, and will never be used to identify you personally.

Braver Technology Solutions Webinar May 9 -

2023: The Year to Outrun Your Outdated Technology

The technology landscape is shifting and changing at breakneck speed these days. Businesses are regularly faced with the conundrum of where to best allocate precious funds to keep things running smoothly.

It is easy to go the easy route - putting off purchasing newer technology in favor of hanging on to aging hardware and software. The pitfall here is that this ends up actually costing more, and not just in the obvious ways.

Join Braver Technology Solutions on Tuesday, May 9th at 12:00 noon for a 30-minute conversation followed by 15 minutes of live Q&A (ask us anything!) around how your (potentially) dusty systems and processes have devastating impacts on cybersecurity, people, and business efficiency - AND what you can do about it. Register here.

NEW Toolkit for the Health Connector for Business

The Health Connector for Business will be holding a webinar on Wednesday, May 10 at 12:00 noon. In this session, experts from the state health insurance marketplace will cover how Massachusetts small businesses can offer flexible coverage from a wide range of providers and coverage levels. Register here.

MSBDC Webinar May 11 - Top Employment Law Issues and Updates

MSBDC is hosting a webinar on Thursday, May 11th from 2:00-3:30 p.m. to discuss Top Employment Law Issues and Updates. Register here.

The post-COVID employment law landscape is still a minefield to navigate. With the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and Federal Trade Comminsion (FTC) making overreaching decisions about standard employment agreements and still dealing with implementing new laws like PFML, it’s hard to catch up! In this webinar they will discuss some top compliance issues, employment law updates, future potential changes, and answer your questions!

Speaker: Wendy L. Hansen, Attorney, Foley & Foley, P.C.

Co-Sponsors: New Bedford Economic Development Council (NBEDC); Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC)

Is Your Small Business Secure?

No matter the size of your business or what industry you’re in, all businesses need data protection.

Ask yourself these questions:

  1. Do I spend a lot of time fixing technology issues, which could be spent doing more important things?
  2. Am I tired of spending money on IT problems instead of investing in projects?
  3. Do I see a lot of downtime due to servers or networks not staying reliable?

If the answer is “yes” to any or all of these questions, it’s crucial to work with an IT company that you know you can trust.

At Wright Technology Group (WTG), we offer customized services that align with your company, its size, and your needs. With a flat-rate fee, you won’t ever have to worry about paying additional charges for support — it’s all included! Ready to learn more? Contact WTG.
