To all 1855 members of Legion #285 Centennial Calgary
When we become a member of the Legion in the membership declaration and initiation quote it says: “I agree to participate in the annual Poppy Campaign”
No one expects members to adhere to this; but, to be able to put together the Poppy Campaign every year, we as a committee, need the members to hear us and to keep that agreement.
Please volunteer even an hour of your time as it will help to bring in money for the Veterans in need. It also relieves the stress of the people who have donated their time for many years.
It is a plea!
I know that the only way to reach out to every member these days is thru social media. Every avenue has been taken to make this happen.
