Legal Shred Receives Approval from Business Integrity Commission in
New York City

The Identity Protection company will now service all five boroughs immediately

Legal Shred, the Identity Protection Company, has received approval from New York City's Business Integrity Commission and will be servicing all five boroughs starting immediately.

The Business Integrity Commission (BIC) regulates all licensees and registrants in commercial waste removal throughout the city. It aims to provide an open, competitive environment in a fair and established manor.

"Being able to do business in New York City has opened up new opportunities for Legal Shred," said Jason Fredricks, Founder and Vice-President of Legal Shred. "The city has always had significant influence over worldwide commerce and represents many industry forerunners. We can now offer a competitive choice for those that operate within the five boroughs, and are thrilled to be part of its ever-growing business initiatives."

The news follows Legal Shred's recent acquisition of Stay Green Shredding and strategic partnership with HV Shred, both of which have boosted Legal Shred's presence beyond Florida.

Legal Shred is owned by Judith Papo and brothers Jason and Sean Fredricks and has rapidly grown into one of the largest independent shredding companies in the state of New York. The Legal Shred staff are experts in helping businesses of all kinds comply with state and federal document destruction laws while keeping documents secure and safe.

Legal Shred recently partnered with the New York Police Department, Emerald Isle Immigration Center and the NYC Mayor's Office, Community Affairs Unit to offer a free shredding event to raise money for the victims of the recent earthquake in Ecuador.
