When The Saints...

This Week, Sunday, May 19th, we will celebrate and amplify the wisdom of children and youth. We'll start by parading around the sanctuary singing When the Saints Go Marching In. If you want to participate in this parade, please meet at the back of the sanctuary. It will be wonderful to celebrate with joy the many people who learn and grow together and from one another.

Getting Ready

Our youth are making banana bread this Friday night and can use your help. These baked goods and other tasty things will be on sale to benefit Rosie's Place after worship this week.

Do you have bananas that are well past their edible date? Chances are they will make great banana bread. Please bring them to FUUSN by Friday at 6:00 PM so the youth can use them to make banana bread during the baking party from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. We could use ten super brown bananas or we will use some molecular gastronomy tricks.

Would you like to join the baking party? Let's make this baking party a multi-generational affair. Let me know if you'd like to join us in the kitchen. Your support and time will make this even more fun and successful.

RE Sunday Share the Plate: Rosie's Place

Our Share the Plate will ensure Rosie's Place can help women find support, opportunities, and the tools they need to make a new start.

Celebrations of All Kinds

In addition to amplifying the wisdom of our children and youth, we will celebrate some milestones on the pathway to adulthood.

In addition to those milestones, we will celebrate 47 volunteers. Volunteering this year included preparing our spaces for the year ahead, Sunday AM RE (including the nursery), OWL (shared with the Waltham congregation), Youth Groups, Multi-Generational Learning and Growing (like the All8 Arts Workshops), and our Teachers' Strike Childcare Program.

After Worship

Get to coffee hour quickly! In addition to the usual warm beverages, there will be baked goods and other wonderful tasty things on sale to benefit Rosie's Place. First come, first served!

Note for Parents of the Coming of Age 2025 Graduating Class: After the service at noon in the chapel, we are hosting a conversation with parents to discuss a bit more about your hopes for your youth as they progress through their Coming of Age year. This will be a brainstorming session rather than an orientation - that will come later.

Volunteer Opportunities

We still need volunteers to help run RE programs. If you're interested, please sign up.
