Dear families,

We are hard at work this year and want to share a few of the exciting ways that your Macon-Bibb Economic Opportunity Council (MBEOC) is “helping people, changing lives, and building families.”

Student Enrollment is Underway

Open enrollment is underway now for infants and children up to age five for the next Head Start school year that begins in August. Don't miss the opportunity to enroll your child now and help us by spreading the word to hard working families who can benefit from this exceptional, free educational program.

Many families helped by our services learn about us through MBEOC’s Head Start childhood education programs. Our four learning centers are preparing 648 children in Bibb and Monroe counties for school success when they enter kindergarten.

A Word from the CEO

Thank you for taking a moment to read about our work. This is our first of regular communications that we hope will inform you of our programs, services and activities of interest to you all.

Services that we offer to families, seniors and others wouldn’t be possible without our visionary board of directors, community partners, volunteers and employees and our dear families. I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your unwavering support and guidance. Together, we all make a tangible difference in uplifting our community.
