Rewind

PULSE at the Park:

PULSE members enjoyed the view of the game and the perks of the new left field suites when they attended the Timber Rattlers game on September 7. Lots of fun was had posing for inning photos, watching the team win in their final series, and networking with other YPs. Whiffer even stopped by to say hello! Check out the photos from the event here.

Dale Carnegie Leadership Training:

A semester with Dale Carnegie kicked off on September 12. YPs were able to attend the session for free and learn more about leading with assertiveness. Our next session, Outstanding Customer Service, is on Wednesday, October 11 at the Chamber from 8 – 10 AM. Even if you missed the first, you’re welcome to sign up for the October session, and we will continue with the monthly training through December. Hope to see you there! Registration and event information can be found here.

PULSE and the Rotary Club:

September brought an opportunity for PULSE to present to the Appleton Breakfast Rotary. The two organizations met over breakfast and coffee to learn about what each other does for the community and those they serve. It was a great opportunity for our PULSE members to share our vision and purpose while understanding the need and impact that other service groups have in our area. We are excited that the door has been opened to help connect PULSE members with area non-profits and continue to make an impact.
