 Greetings!

Let me ask you a question.  Who is on the throne of your life?  You see, each one of us has a throne in our life.  On that throne sits a person that controls every facet of one's life.  For most people Self is in control, sitting on the throne of one's life.  Here is an even bigger question.

Where is Jesus in your life?  Sadly, for many Christians, Self is on the throne and Jesus sits at the foot of the throne.  In essence, Jesus is bowing to Self, on the throne, and is submissive to Self.  What does this look like in the Christian life?  Knowledge and enthusiasm for Jesus, being that Fan in the stadium.  Doing things that Self wants and desires.  Self controls when he allows Jesus into his life.  Self generally makes all the decisions without consulting Jesus.  Self does what makes him comfortable.  Self takes care of Self.

But the person who Makes Jesus Lord of his Life is different.  Jesus is sitting on the throne of his life and Self is bowing in submission to Jesus.  Everything in that person's life points to Jesus and brings glory to Him. Every decision is based on Biblical principals and God's Word is the Final Authority in his Life.  Many Christians claim that Jesus is Lord of their life, but what's the evidence?  Let me give you an illustration.

When I was a boy I would ride my bike down to the Dallas Cowboys practice facility and attempt to get a peek at the players though a small hole in the corrugated metal fence.  After a while, a few of the players let me in to watch practice.  Tom Landry was the coach.  Everyone called him coach, including myself.  I called him coach because it was his title, he was the coach of the Dallas Cowboys, and I respected him.  But, Coach Landry was not my coach.  I was not a Dallas Cowboy.  I did not come to practice day in and day out, I did not lift the weights, I did not follow his every command.  He was a coach in title only to me, but not in reality as my coach.  Oh, I was a big Dallas Cowboys fan and I felt like part of the team, but Coach Landry was not really my coach.

It's the same with Christ.  Christians call Him Lord out of respect for his position and title, but is He really the Coach of your life?  Yes we are fans of Christ, we even enthusiastically attend church, say a few prayers, read the Bible on occasion, are full of knowledge and are generally good people.  But is Jesus LORD of your Life?  Is He really your coach?  If He is your Coach, then you have some responsibilities... you will follow His every command.

You see, the evidence that Jesus is LORD of your life is Obedience.  Obedience is genuine proof of love for Jesus Christ.  If you were arrested for Making Jesus Lord of Your Life, would there be enough evidence to convict?

"Not everyone who says to me 'Lord Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in Heaven.  Many will say to me on the day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'  Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you.'"  - Matt 7:21-23.  Is Jesus really LORD of your life?

Frisco Shark Tank

Crawford Family

Jacob was awarded $1,200 for his small business, My Cool Locker.  This was a type of Shark Tank as he pitched his already operational idea and business to a local investment panel as part of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA).

The locker shelves were Brock's idea when he was in 8th grade and now Jacob is taking the business to the next level as an 8th grader. Yes, he is only in 8th grade!  My Cool Locker shelves are custom fit, sturdy, reusable year after year, and fully adjustable.  His primary market is M iddle School students in the area.  We are very proud of Jacob!

Each week we close with a team huddle praying the Lord's Prayer together.

Spiritual Growth!

Men are praying!  Men are singing! Men are memorizing Scripture!  Men are growing Spiritually in the Lord Jesus Christ! Right here in Frisco at Game Day.

God continues to grow His men for His purposes each Friday morning. Men are healing, gaining Biblical insight, and most importantly growing in their personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

"Global Men's Leadership has been a gift from God for me."
"Great group of men and the beautiful sunrise rocks!"
"GML has helped open my eyes to how important
it is to walk with Jesus Christ."

Steve Foster enthusiastically gave us three messages before he departed for baseball Spring Training with the Kansas City Royals, we've had two guest speakers, and I've had the privilege of bringing the message from the Word of God for a while now. I just finished going through 4 of our Fundamentals: Link together with a Group of Like-Minded Men, Become a Man of Prayer, Make God's Word the Final Authority in Your Life, and last week, Make Jesus Lord of your Life. That's the key... Make Jesus Lord of Your Life! Join us!

Moving Forward
We Need Your Help!

God graciously provided the funding to kick off Game Day and support it for a time.  We are providing the Spiritual support, but we need your help moving forward with financial support.  Global Men's Leadership needs consistent monthly financial support to continue ministering to men not only at Game Day, but throughout the entire ministry.

Currently, Game Day meets each Friday morning at the FC Dallas Stadium River Club. We are blessed to rent this facility at a very reasonable rate. The small groups continue to meet with hopes of starting new small groups in the Fall.  I converse with my African counterparts often and our ministry in Uganda continues to impact people in that nation.  GML is a ministry, but it is also a small business with all of the things that go with a business, like banking, accounting, technology, marketing, mailing, office supplies, rental, and salary.

I ask that you prayerfully seek God's guidance in providing consistent monthly financial provision for this ministry for the glory of the Lord. Operating costs have increased and I take the call to ministry seriously and need to support my family through this vocation of ministry.

Neck Brace
Personal Prayer Request

As many of you know, the thorn in my flesh is my spine.  I ask for your prayers as I go in for surgery on April 1st for neck fusion of the C5-C7 vertebrae.  I will be home for 3 weeks and in a neck brace for 6 weeks.

Please pray specifically for:

God's Will to be done
Speedy Recovery
For my family dealing with me... I'm a bad patient :)
Continued Spiritual Growth of the men in my short absence

The ministry is in good hands.  I've built into the lives of many capable men to lead the small groups and Game Day; other men have stepped up willing to speak and lead in my absence.  I am grateful for each man's help.  Thank you.

I want to thank you in advance for your prayers!
