The 2016 Annual Salute to Southwestern Illinois Recognition celebrated Business Investments and Job Creation in Healthcare. Eight hospital systems were provided significant recognition for their outstanding accomplishments in recent years. Additionally, this edition highlights further developments in healthcare, including Memorial Hospital East opens with strong patient numbers, OSF Saint Anthony's Health Center recognized with Outstanding Patient Experience Award, Alton Memorial Hospital receives Center of Distinction Award, and Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation receives Komen grant for its START NOW Breast Health Services Program. Our regional healthcare systems continue to be on a strong growth path in driving our economy forward.
