Executive Director's Message - Jenny Berg

We are in a “Virtual Reality” that we’ve never been in before. We are all learning new ways to navigate what is now our reality of delivering our services as best as we can, virtually, with social distancing, or in other creative ways, so that we lessen the risk of spreading the coronavirus to our staff, clients, and volunteers. These are dark, challenging days, but there are points of light we see. Our nonprofit members have stepped up in a big way to:

Collaborate - La Soupe partners with Firehouse Grill who donates space & food to feed families
Open Doors - YMCA transitions to pandemic child care provider
Vision - Emergency Shelter of NKY & Welcome House of NKY - envision & use NKY Convention Center
Innovate - May We Help makes face masks
Donate - UWGC & GCF develop rapid response fund

COVID-19 has certainly brought much disruption into our entire world, but these organizations, as well as many others are resilient and inspiring. Be sure to continue to check our COVID-19 resource page , or our emails, for updated links that could help your organization.
