MTSS at LHS
In alignment with the District's focus on improving equity and elevating outcomes for all students, especially our diverse learners, we have expanded and improved our Multi-Tiered Systems of Student Support. The goal is to ensure that intervention and acceleration classes effectively use data to inform instruction and that school culture teams systematically identify and meet student needs. With a collective effort, we will close learning gaps, increase belonging and engagement, and see that all Lancers set and exceed their goals.
Our goal, in the language of our School-Quality Review Rubric, is to screen and identify students exceeding benchmarks and/or at risk for inadequate /inequitable academic, behavioral, or social-emotional outcomes. Accelerate and monitor student growth through a multi-tiered system of instruction and interventions.
