RAGNAR Relay! Volunteers Needed | April 12-13, 2024
Volunteers, vans and drivers needed for the RAGNAR Relay. We have 11 lead pastors & our district superintendent Tim Jacobs running the RAGNAR Relay! They've started to meet online and train for this event. However, we need more than just runners - we need church vans, drivers and volunteers to help out with all aspects of the race, which will be an adventure in itself! Interested? 2024 EFCA Theology Conference - Registration is Open! | |
The EFCA Theology Conference exists to intentionally encourage and equip EFCA pastors and leaders in their personal lives and in their ministries in the local church through biblical and theological education for the sake of the gospel.
This year, we will focus on the important subject of marriage. This is one of the good gifts given by God, one of the most basic, fundamental and important institutions that has faced the most devastating impact from the sexual revolution and no-fault divorce. It has become not only common but somewhat expected, even among Christians.
The pre-conference, beginning on Wednesday, February 7 at 8:30 a.m., will address the topic: What is the Proper Role of the Church as it Relates to the State? Considering Public Theology, Patriotism and Christian Nationalism.

You’re Invited: Missions Leaders Gathering in January!
This annual event is for pastors, church staff or volunteers who provide leadership to missions in their church. Connect with others navigating the same decisions you face with missions strategy, funding, promotion, church involvement and volunteer management. The presentations spark great conversation and the interaction with other leaders will sharpen the missions leadership you bring to your EFCA church. Feel free to bring key team members or volunteer leaders along with you! Meals throughout the event are covered by the EFCA while travel and lodging are the responsibility of each participant.
Starts January 8 at 11:30AM and runs through noon on January 10.

When churches, missionaries and Christian organizations partner in healthy ways, the results are often much greater than what could be accomplished alone. Healthy Missions Partnerships is an online course for church leaders that provides an introduction to building, launching and sustaining partnerships to impact the globe with the gospel. FREE to those in EFCA churches!

This free course provides training and resources for U.S. churches partnering with cross-cultural churches and organizations and is useful for evangelism, discipleship, leader training and holistic ministry. You’ll learn about shared vision, goals, roles and responsibilities, cross-cultural communication, conflict resolution and more.

Youth Groups - Early Bird Deadline is Dec. 15th | Apex youth group trips give high school students an opportunity to live on mission and in community for a week while serving alongside EFCA leaders, missionaries and pastors in the United States and around the world. Students will join long-term workers, which allows them to multiply their long-term efforts while giving students a real feel for what ministry looks like in that culture. | | | |

Credentialing News: LAST CALL for Expedited License
This opportunity is for pastors, ministers, and staff serving in an associate role, who have been involved in ministry with the EFCA for at least 10 years, and who desire to be aligned with and accountable to the EFCA. This credential will only be offered during calendar year 2023 so time is running out! All steps are to be submitted by December 31. More information can be found on the credentialing website.
