Expressions; An Afternoon of Art and Music

Now on Sunday afternoons, bring the whole family for an afternoon enjoying the arts. Enjoy live music on the events lawn, tasty eats from food trucks, and an art walk along the paseo featuring local artists! This month, enjoy the sounds of Esperanza's Jazz Band. Food will be available for purchase from German Yum and Cali Delights food trucks. This event is free to attend and no registration is necessary. The first ever photography exhibit, Through the Camera Lens, is now on display at the Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center until April 19. Submissions for the next exhibition, My Culture, Myself are being accepted until April 5.
Make sure to mark your calendars for the next reception on Thursday, May 2 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Enjoy live music, and complimentary soft drinks and treats while you enjoy an art exhibit inspired by artists' cultures.

Flexible Registration for Multi-Day Programs
Yorba Linda Parks & Recreation is excited to offer a more streamlined registration process for select multi-day activities, including Parent Toddler Art Time, Family Art Experience and some summer programs. To use the system:
- Sign in to your ActiveNet account at YLRecOnline.com and select "Activities."
- Search for the activity by course # or title. Select "Enroll Now."
- Select the participant you are enrolling.
- Use the drop-down menu to select the session time for the session you are enrolling.
- Select each date you would like to register for, using the calendar. Scroll between months using the arrows.
- After selecting all dates, select "Add to Cart" and complete check-out.

| Come join the fun and gain some valuable work experience while earning community service credit. The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking out active and responsible teenagers ages 14-17 interested in working with youth this summer. Nerf Night

The Yorba Linda Middle School Soccer Field will be transformed into the ultimate battleground. Compete in a variety of games such as team elimination, capture the flag, and more! Participants must provide their own NERF guns and protective eyewear; darts will be provided.

Come join us at Eastside Community Park to enjoy a special showing of Wish. Enjoy a Saturday evening in the park while watching a family-friendly movie on our 20ft inflatable movie screen. Recreation Leader (Summer Programs)
This is a part-time position under the general supervision of the Recreation Specialist, Recreation Coordinator and/or Recreation Supervisor. Responsibilities include assisting in the daily operations of parks and recreation facilities including preparing facility and room setup, monitoring facility rentals, and assisting in the planning, organizing, implementing, and leading a variety of recreation activities, summer youth programs, Adventure Playground summer camp, and special events for youth, teen, adult, and the older adult population.
Senior Recreation Leader (Summer Programs)
This is a part-time position under the general supervision of the Recreation Specialist, Recreation Coordinator and/or Recreation Supervisor. Recreation Specialist - Youth and Teen Programs
The Yorba Linda Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and innovative individual to assist with the coordinating of Youth and Teen programing. This is a permanent part-time position under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor and Recreation Coordinator that performs a variety of job duties at Thomas Lasorda Jr. Field House and Adventure Playground. Main responsibilities will pertain to coordination of Teen Action Committee, Community Volunteer Program, Summer Volunteen Program, Summer Youth Programs, developing and coordinating special events, facility oversight of Adventure Playground and scheduling and supervising part time staff. Other responsibilities will be clerical in nature and will include tracking volunteer hours, scheduling volunteers and providing customer service support in a front office setting and assisting clients with facility reservations and program registrations. Additional responsibilities will include management and supervision of Adventure Playground.
Recreation Coordinator - Facility Rentals
Under the direct supervision of the Recreation Supervisor and Parks and Recreation Superintendent. The Recreation Coordinator performs a wide variety of duties at the Yorba Linda Community Center. Major responsibilities include assisting with facility management and supervision of rentals at the Community Center. Duties will include monitoring facility rental contracts, coordinating logistics for rentals, overseeing maintenance of supplies and equipment, scheduling and supervising over twenty part-time staff, and planning and conducting city-wide special events and family programs
