89th Annual NWDJLS Premium Sale March 6th

The FFA & 4H members’ animals that are selected for the sale are the BEST of over 2,000 entries shown at NWDJLS. These students have worked every day for months feeding, washing, exercising and practicing with their animals. Making the sale is the highest honor they can receive.

FAQ for those that might not be familiar with this outstanding opportunity to support the next generation of agricultural leaders:

Will I be purchasing an actual animal?

No, you will not be purchasing an actual animal. The money spent at the sale goes directly to the student. The students use the funds they receive to continue their showing project in future seasons and pay off feed bills from this season.

How much should I expect to spend?

That is entirely up to you. It is always a good idea to come to an auction with a budget in mind. Often times, buyers work together to purchase a student’s project.

Who can attend the Buyer’s Dinner?

Anyone who intends to participate in the Premium Sale Auction and is 21 years of age and older is invited to enjoy a complimentary steak dinner.

Why should my business get involved?

By supporting the NWDJLS Premium Sale Auction you are supporting the future of our state—our students. Please join us as we celebrate these youth and their accomplishments.

Enlisted Appreciation Night April 22, 2023

Vance Air Force Base (VAFB) has a tremendous impact on Enid’s economy. A large part of the base’s population consists of enlisted personnel. On Saturday, April 22, 2023 the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee will host this group for Enlisted Appreciation Night. Recognized by the Air Force as one of the finest displays of appreciation for enlisted personnel, the event demonstrates commitment and support for VAFB and helps acquaint military personnel with the Enid business community.

If you would like to contribute or have any questions, please contact Lori at 580.237.2494 or lori@enidchamber.com. Businesses contributing cash or prizes will be recognized in our newsletter and throughout the event.
