Fourth Quarter Excitement

As we enter the last quarter of the school year, our enthusiasm is contagious! It's time to finish the year strong, celebrate our achievements, and look forward to a busy summer and the start of the 2024-25 school year.

Enrollment is well-underway for our incoming freshman class - the Class of 2028. It's a joy to welcome these students to the Cristo Rey family; they are full of potential and eager to embark on their academic and professional journey with us.

Student Spotlight

Nehissa Jean-Louis is a member of the Class of 2027 at Cristo Rey Miami who has demonstrated incredible leadership and initiative during her freshman year. Nehissa serves as 9th-grade Class President, is the founder and President of the Cristo Rey Miami Business Club, and plays clarinet in the school band. Her Corporate Work Study Program placement is at GreenbergTraurig, and she shared more about her experience there this year:

"Working in GreenbergTraurig has been the experience of a lifetime. I have prepared for meetings, helped assemble evidence for trials, and completed administrative tasks for the human resources department.

The experiences I have had at work are beyond my imagination. I feel appreciated for the work I do. Everyone is amazing and all of my supervisors are extremely supportive. I always look forward to going to work."

Donor Spotlight

The Deloitte Foundation, in collaboration with Deloitte's South Florida office, has awarded Cristo Rey Miami an impact grant in support of innovative learning space in our new academic building.

This space will empower our students with skills in math, data science, statistics, and more, preparing them for successful careers in business, accounting, and STEM fields.
