Small caps are up more than 1.5% today, reclaiming some of yesterday's 2.5% sell-off in the S-fund. Large caps are not snapping back as easily. The S&P 500 has spent some of the morning in negative territory but is now up around 0.4% trying to catch up to DWCPF (S-fund)

Investors got news that the economy grew at a faster pace than expected in the second quarter. That is good to hear in the midst of earnings season but may dampen rate cut expectations for the rest of the year.

The ETF EFA is down this morning but at its highs trying to climb out of its morning hole.

Bonds are up near 0.4% this morning.

TSP Talk AutoTracker Members

Fifteen TSP Talk AutoTracker members are making IFTs tody.

Eight members are increasing their G-fund exposure today. That ranges from a 5% to a 100% increase. This is a higher rate of moves to the G-fund than we've seen in some time.

Six of the new allocations include a healthy amount of diversification.

Three members are moving from 100% C-fund to 100% S-fund. That includes a top 50 member:

Top Member IFT

Today top member bkc2a is moving from the C-fund to the S-fund. Bkc2a has been part of the C-fund herd all year which has them currently tied for 4th in the TSP Talk AutoTracker standings. Will this move put them distinguish them at the top?

Average Allocation of the Top 300 AutoTracker Members:

(includes premium members)

G: 7.3%, F: 0.3%, C: 59.4%, S: 26.1%, I: 3.0%

Look back to yesterday's report to compare

Yesterday's deep losses dropped both the average C and S-funds among the top 300. The leftovers went to the G-fund which rose from 4.3% to 7.3% without much or any movement to the G-fund by the top 300. Instead, members already holding the G-fund were lifted into the top 300.
