Good news!   There are still a few spaces available in the two workshops presented by Karel Hendee, through Main Street Gallery.

 

Karel  Hendee is the current artist at Main Street Gallery, and her work is some of the most beautiful fabric work to be seen.  

This gifted artist is teaching her method of painting on silk, in her first workshop, presented at Main Street Gallery on Thursday, April 30.  The cost for the workshop, $80.00, includes all materials and a gourmet lunch provided by the Main Street Directors. 

The second workshop, at the Barking Mad Art Studio on Sunday, May 3, is on a quick dye process and then creating a collage of the dyed material.  The cost of $90 for that workshop also includes all materials and a gourmet lunch. 

A percentage of the proceeds go to benefit Main Street Gallery.

  Concert - Friday, May 1 at 7:00 pm

Support your local gallery and have a thoroughly enjoyable experience on Friday, May 1, listening to old-time Appalachian string band tunes and vintage country songs and story telling, by the Free Range String Band.  


 

Karel Hendee and her husband, Jonathan, sing and play fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar bass and harmonium to a foot stomping beat. You will want to get up and dance!
