'Bring Down the Wall'

China's most prestigious university, Peking University in Beijing, saw a protest against its Covid containment maneuver. At midnight on May 15, students protested the erection of a temporary metal wall that keeps students locked in and divides the of-campus dorms like a Berlin Wall.

Students Honored for Local Community Impact  

Four students have received the 2022 Cornell Campus-Community Leadership Award, an annual honor given by the Division of University Relations to graduating seniors who have shown exceptional town-gown leadership and innovation.

Students Lobby for Bill to Ease University Housing Crunch  

Student activists supporting Senate Bill 886, authored by San Francisco Democratic Sen. Scott Wiener, want fast action on housing projects, which can get tangled in lawsuits and lengthy review process. Critics say the bill won't actually solve the core problem.

Blacksburg Town Council Still Discussing How to Tame Tailgating

Blacksburg Town Council is continuing to discuss ways to address the massive crowds at Center Street on Virginia tech game days, and with football season right around the corner, the clock is ticking to find a solution.

PU Launches Research Partnerships with Five HBCUs 

Princeton University is partnering with the United Negro College Fund and five historically Black colleges and universities to launch a groundbreaking program designed to enable research collaboration between Princeton faculty and their peers at HBCUs.
