"Sit & Soar" Benches Available

Our "Sit and Let Your Spirit Soar" public art online auction closes TONIGHT, Friday, September 30 at 7:00 PM. There are only 7 benches available to bid on. Act NOW before it is too late! This is your opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted bench, designed and created by a local artist!  All bids will include NCP moving your winning bench to your Newton yard, home or business at a ground floor location on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Benches are being sold "As Is" and can be viewed on location.

Proceeds will support NCP's 2023 spring public art installation. 

Fall Community Micro Grant

Application Opens Tomorrow, 10/1

Newton Community Pride is thrilled to announce our Fall 2021 Community Micro Grant! This program is for artists, arts organizations, area councils & neighborhood groups whose events, beautification, or service projects are consistent with our mission.  Events, projects, and programs must occur on or before June 30, 2023. Applicants need to be either a Newton resident or their event/project needs to benefit the Newton community and occur in the City of Newton.

The application opens tomorrow, October 1 and will close on November 1. Applicants will be notified of their grant on or before November 18th.  Learn more here.
