PA-KUA
The Pa-Kua also known as the Bagua combines a representation of directions, the Five Element Phases, Yin and Yang, numerology and the Eight Trigrams into one image. All classical Feng Shui principles originate from or are related to the Bagua.

BAZHAI
The Eight Mansions method of Feng Shui is one of the simplest and easiest to master methods of classical Feng Shui. Eight Mansions is known in Chinese as Ba Zhai (literally, "Eight Houses"). It is one of the oldest internal Feng Shui methods.

FLYING STAR
The Luo Shu Square with its nine sectors is used in the Flying Star Theory (Xuan Kong Fei Xing) of Compass School Feng Shui. The Luo Shu Square helps the Feng Shui practitioner to analyze a structure to unlock the time dimension of Feng Shui.

MING GUA
Ming Gua is used to choose favorable directions in the BaZhai or Eight Mansion Theory of Feng Shui. Each person is assigned a trigram which denotes your four favorable and four unfavorable directions.

LUO PAN Compass
The Luo Pan (compass) is used for orienting the buildings themselves, and determining the Chi within and around them. It is used to find the best directions for activities in buildings, for people, and to divine the astrology of the building.

Advanced Classical Compass Certification
The Advanced Classical Compass Practitioner Certification Training is a Five Day Program offered once a year in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
conducted by Michelle Luongo, director of the Academy of Feng Shui, East Coast.
The Advanced Classical Compass School Feng Shui Certification Program introduces you to traditional methods of Feng Shui, teaching you to align your home with magnetic compass directions to achieve harmony and balance in your life. In this program you will discover the deeper insight of the Lo Shu Square and the Eight Trigrams of the PaKua, coupled with an introduction to the foundation of Chinese Philosophy and the Wisdom of the Yi Jing.
This course has limited seating, as the intention is to provide individual attention required for all theories, methodology and concepts. The core curriculum includes practical application, case studies and calculations.

Class Supplies & Materials
All supplies for this class will be provided. Students are asked to record accurate compass readings of their own home or that of a friend. The directions for taking a compass reading will be sent along with registration confirmation.
Student should arrive to class with eight (8) copies of a floor plan. Floor plans should be to scale on letter size paper, detailing all rooms, as well as the front and back door. Blueprints will not be advantageous.

Tuition
The Tuition for the Advanced Classical Compass Program is $1900. We offer a $400 discount to returning student who have attended the Academy of Feng Shui, East or West Coast. We suggest our early enrollment discount for those looking to make a full payment and take advantage of options of lowering your tuition.
