We don't usually go for a run, but for Rosé, we would do a little jog. It's almost time for the Annual Run For Rose 5k, hosted by BottlesUp! This 3.1 miler is a fun run/walk along the lake (with an after-party at BottlesUp!) created to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association and celebrate drinking pink.

Choose your own starting time between 9-10:30 am and choose to run/walk solo or with some running/walking buddies! The run is taking place on May 7th!
This upscale Broadway Mediterranean restaurant has gone under new ownership, meet Black and Caspian 2.0!

Evelyn Chantawee is the new proud owner and invites you to come in and check out the restaurant, especially since patio season is rapidly approaching! They have a fantastic wine list, and great charcuterie to choose from. The whole staff is knowledgeable about wine and cheese, so they can pick the perfect pairing. The menu also features plenty of gourmet entrees and appetizers to choose from. Treat your loved ones to a great night out!

Yesterday, Chicago made national headlines with the news that Walmart is closing 4 out of the 8 locations in Chicago. Unfortunately, the 2844 N Broadway location is on the list to go. Find out more information from Block Club Chicago, here.

In other grocery news, an Amazon Fresh store is set to open at 3179 N Clark St. Keep an eye out for updates and an opening date!
