Badger Students Named Semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program

Badger High School students Erin Hensler and Joshua Schooley were named Semifinalists in the 68th annual National Merit Scholarship Program by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®).


Hensler and Schooley are among 16,000 Semifinalists in the 68th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,250 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $28 million that will be offered next spring.

Eastview Elementary School

Learning about our peers, making connections, and building relationships are critical elements of student success. In September, students made all about me boards and shared them with their classmates.

Lake Geneva Middle School

The 7th grade Computer Literacy students built wind turbines. They had to utilize two gear arrangements between the blades of the turbine and the generator. The fastest turbine got the generator to spin at nearly 150 rpm!

Badger Senior named Commended Student in National Merit Scholarship Program

Badger High School Senior Tinker Trent has been named a Commended Student in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Developmental Screenings

Lake Geneva Schools offers child screenings for parents who have concerns about their child’s development. The purpose of the developmental screening is to check on your child's overall development and to determine if they may need further testing or services prior to school. The district offers many programs and services for children who may need support before kindergarten to achieve school success.

Kindergarten students enjoyed a field trip to the Apple Barn! They picked apples and got a pumpkin to bring home! The hayride was fun, the apple cider and donuts were delicious, and the tree maze was a great time too!

Badger Homecoming King & Queen

Aeneas Hayes and Leigha Funari were crowned king and queen of Badger High School's Homecoming at the annual pep assembly. Congratulations!

Maple Park Charter School

Maple Park 6th-8th grade students learning paper quilling, an art form from the 15th century. They use a quilling tool to roll up the paper and make different shapes and designs.

What is Kidspace? A family-involved playgroup for all 2-4 year olds and caregivers. The Kidspace Playgroup is a free program offering your child an opportunity for free play, art activities, movement, storytime, and a snack! This is a perfect opportunity to strengthen social-emotional skills, early literacy skills, and develop connections between families. This is a family-friendly program; younger siblings are welcome to come along.
