Superintendent Search
Survey & Community Forum
The Lake Geneva Jt. 1 School District and the Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union (Badger) High School District Boards of Education have begun the search process for a new superintendent. We have selected School Exec Connect, an educational search firm, to assist us in this process.
We are interested in receiving your input about the new superintendent. We would ask you to take about five minutes to fill out an online survey. Click here to complete the survey (Español). This survey will be available from January 3-16, 2022.
In addition to the survey, if you would like to provide input on Lake Geneva Schools’ strengths, challenges, and the characteristics the next superintendent should possess, the School Exec Connect consultants invite you to attend an open community forum.
The community forum will take place on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Badger High School, Recital Hall: 220 E South St, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. Please park and enter at the Commons (Door I).

Central-Denison Elementary School
As 3rd graders continue to learn about Figurative Language, students in Mrs. Peters' class practiced writing their own poems using alliteration, which is 3 or more words that all start with the same sound. These poems are inspired by Jack Prelutsky’s poem: Bleezer’s Ice Cream. Look at the creative and disgusting ice cream flavors.

Star Center Elementary School
Mrs. Barnes’ 3rd grade class at Star Center Elementary School started working on subtraction with ungrouping. By using manipulatives, they were able to truly grasp the idea and will be able to confidently draw proof drawings when the class gets to that part of the math unit. Keep up the great work 3rd graders!

Badger DECA Earns Many Medals and Trophies at District Conference
A total of 30 students participated in the Southeastern Wisconsin DECA Career Development Conference held at Racine Case High School on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
At the conference, students competed either as an individual or in a team event with a partner. They had to choose an occupation category to compete in that matched their career interests. Students then had to take a 100 question test on their content knowledge in that area. In addition, they each needed to perform two business role-plays with a judge to solve some type of problem in that industry.
Many students were recognized for success at the conference. Badger has a history of performing very well at this level, with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the Wisconsin State Career Development Conference in February. Badger students earned 28 medals overall. Here is a list of Badger students who earned medals in their events:
