Have you completed our Face Covering (Mask) Usage Survey?
On Thursday, May 13, 2021, the CDC released updated guidance that fully vaccinated people can resume activities they did before the pandemic, including participating in indoor and outdoor activities – large or small – without wearing a mask or physically distancing. One of the important exceptions to this updated mask guidance was K-12 Schools. As of now, the CDC’s school guidance remains unchanged. Most students are still unvaccinated and as a result, the CDC is advising that teachers, school administrators, staff and visitors should continue to mask and follow physical distancing guidelines until more people and children are vaccinated.
As a result of this guidance, the Lake Geneva Schools (Lake Geneva Jt.#1 and Badger) will continue to require face coverings for ALL students, staff and visitors while inside our school buildings (and on buses) for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. This is consistent with school board action taken to reopen our schools.
Lake Geneva Schools would like to receive input from you on how to move forward with our face covering (mask) policy for Summer School and the Fall of 2021. Please help us by completing this short survey. Please respond to our survey by Friday, May 21, 2021. Your responses will be taken into consideration as well as health recommendations and requirements as we develop our plan.

Lake Geneva Middle School Outdoor Education
Outdoor Education 2021 was a success! Through the immense support and help of our staff, we were able to take this year's 6th-graders to Camp MacLean for a fun and safe learning experience. 6th-graders explored what life on the prairie was like, what critters call a swamp home, how to navigate and build campfires in the woods, how to fish and boat at the lake, and last but not least how to face their fears on Camp MacLean's high ropes course. Fun was had by all while students worked together to build life skills and memories.

Central-Denison 3rd Graders Master Math
Mrs. Peters and Mrs. Lois offered Math 24 as a Lighted School House class for third graders. Students must use all 4 numbers on the card to get the answer 24. They can add, subtract, multiply, or divide. This math game helps students practice strategies as well as facts. On the last day, we held a mini-competition. Students played and advanced through 3 rounds. All of the students did great! Congratulations to the three finalists: 3rd Place-Parker | 2nd Place-Henry | 1st Place-Emma!!
