Number Corner in Action at
Central-Denison Elementary
The 3rd graders in Mrs. Peters' class start everyday with Number Corner. They review a wide variety of math concepts, and each month, they have a new focus. In the month of December the 3rd graders are finding the mass of different objects.
Students make predictions of the mass of multiple objects based on the mass of one object.
In the pictures, a student found the mass of one eraser and then used that information to calculate the mass of three erasers.

Badger School Board Award | |
|
The following Badger High School performing arts students were honored as Achievement Plus Award Recipients. They were nominated by Mr. Stoltenberg, Badger High School Theater Director.
Sydney Krause was honored for her role in the fall musical and the One-Act play. Her hard work contributed to the success of the musical. In addition, Sydney's talent and efforts were instrumental in helping the One-Act Play advance to State and receive the Critic’s Choice award.
Danny Tanner was honored for stepping into a major role two days prior to the Regional One-Act Competition and then staying on to assist in advancing to State. He then relearned his original role for the State competition. Danny’s commitment to the production as a whole was selfless and was one of the major reasons for Badger's success at State.
Mason Scheel was honored for stepping into a role in the District and Sectional One-Act Competition when there was an illness in the cast. He took on this role with enthusiasm and fit in seamlessly. In addition, when advancing to State and the original actors returned, it was appreciated that Mason humbly embraced his original role and assisted the returning cast with their lines. Mason is a true example of a team player!
