Welcome Back!
We are excited and enthusiastic in welcoming you back for the 2019-2020 school year! I sincerely hope all of you had a great summer and are now prepared to have your best year school year yet. It is an exciting time as we not only welcome our students and families to the new school year, but we also have some exciting new programs and administrative personnel changes that will give our schools a new look!

In addition to our regular education programming which offers many opportunities 4K-12, we now operate two Charter Schools: Maple Park Charter School, located at Star Center services K-8 students, while New Visions Charter School operates out of Badger High School. Both of these charter schools offer curriculum in combinations of on-line and in the building learning opportunities. In addition, we are very excited to begin a preschool program in the district. Information on all programs can be found on our website or by calling the district office.

Administrative personnel changes have taken place at Badger High School, Eastview Elementary and the District Office. At Badger, Ms. Jenny Straus takes over as Interim Principal as Mr. Russ Tronsen has left the district to take a similar position in Beaver Dam, WI. Former science teacher, Ms. Katie Stanton is now serving as an Assistant Principal at Badger. Ms. Erin Zigler has become the new principal at Eastview Elementary, replacing Ms. Tami Martin. She joins us after serving as Principal at Randall School for the past five years. We also have a new Business Manager, Mr. George Chironis who is replacing Mr. Warren Flitcroft. We have high expectations and tremendous confidence in our new administrators and wish them well in their new positions.

In conclusion, we are prepared to offer our students the best education possible during the 2019-2020 school year. We hope our students and families take full advantage of everything our schools have to offer!

Sincerely,
Dr. James Gottinger
Superintendent
