FOURTH GRADERS SOAR AT LOWER SCHOOL CLOSING CEREMONY
We are so proud of our Fourth Graders!

"The 20 students who graduated from our Lower School campus embody Laguna Blanca's core values of Scholarship, Character, Balance, and Community. Each student contributed to our school community by serving on the student council. They helped launch our new playground and thematic social-emotional learning by sharing tips and participating in skits in our weekly assemblies, and they continued the tradition of honoring community members at our Fourth Grade Citizenship Breakfast. Through their contributions, these students modeled traits such as responsibility, compassion, gratitude, leadership, and courage to our younger students," says Head of Lower School Brooke Green. "Congratulations to our fourth grade graduating class. We thank you for the impact each of you made on our school, and we can’t wait to see how you continue to grow and thrive in Middle School and beyond.”
DANA CALDWELL HONORED WITH LAGUNA'S 2024 FACULTY EXCELLENCE AWARD
Brava to Dana Caldwell, this year’s recipient of Laguna’s Faculty Excellence Award! Since 1988, this award has honored exceptional teaching and over and beyond dedication to Laguna and its students.

From captivating fifth graders to inspiring seniors, Dana’s relentless enthusiasm and positivity light up every classroom. Her leadership has transformed our theater program into a vibrant community where students discover new passions, build lasting bonds, and find their confidence under the spotlight. They learn that grinding through long evening rehearsals and working on weekends is absolutely worth every second. They also learn that it can be fun if approached in the way Ms. Caldwell does, knowing that hard work done together builds character and community.

Dana, you are rare and wonderful, and your performance truly steals the show! Join us in applauding Dana Caldwell’s outstanding work and the magic she brings to Laguna Blanca.
