ANGELOFF MEMORIAL GOLF CLASSIC MAKES SUCCESSFUL RETURN
|
|
The Angeloff Memorial Golf Classic, presented by Laguna Blanca Alums, returned Friday, May 17 to the Glen Annie Golf Club after a three-year hiatus. Supported by the Office of Development & Alum Relations, this year’s tournament was the first since the passing of beloved physics teacher Peter “Ace” Angeloff.
Alums from the classes of 1970-2023 gathered for a fun afternoon that kicked off with a BBQ lunch and putting contest. 13 teams of alums, current parents, current students, and friends of Laguna played a scramble format that included fun on-course games and contests and was followed by a reception and awards ceremony.

UPPER SCHOOL ATHLETES VISIT LOWER SCHOOL FOR FUN FINAL LUNCH
Last week marked the final Upper School student-athlete lunch of the year at the Lower School.
The four US Owls were Sophie Otte '26 (indoor and beach volleyball), Brady Clifford '26 (indoor and beach volleyball), Bennett Sullivan '26 (swimming), and Eric Feng '27 (swimming), who kindly took time away from classes to engage with the younger Owls during lunch and free play. Their presence once again created a fun and engaging experience for both groups, sparking lively conversations among the EK-4 students about their own sports experiences and interests. The younger students loved the opportunity to interact with their big buddies from Hope Ranch!

MAKE THIS SUMMER ONE TO REMEMBER!

Students often long for the lazy days of summer where there are no morning alarms, homework to do, or tests to study for. It usually only takes a day or two before the absence of routine has children and parents longing for a plan. Click the link below for some tips from School Counselor Kim Valentine to help make this summer as great as you hope it will be!
