CONGRATULATIONS!  Your advocacy worked.  The Governor signed the promotion/diploma bill, HB1015, into law this afternoon.

Certain students with disabilities will have an alternative pathway to be promoted through grades and earn a diploma.

Thanks to all who took part in our LaTEACH advocacy this session.  Your phone calls, emails, visits with legislators, and trips to the Capitol have once again made a difference for many students with disabilities and their families.
