Typically, LaTEACH members have a Purple Shirt Day at SEAP meetings. However, this Thursday, May 22nd, the biggest issue to address outcomes for students with disabilities will be considered by the Louisiana Senate Education Committee.

LaTEACH members interested in having alternative pathways for promotion and graduation should wear purple at the Senate Education Committee, at the Capitol in Baton Rouge, next Thursday, May 22nd.

Senate Education Committee is expected to decide on HB1015 next Thursday.  HB1015 seeks to create alternative pathways for some students with disabilities to be promoted and graduate with a diploma.
