Diploma Pathway for Students with disAbilities!

Put on your purple!

 

Senate Education Committee needs to know if you support students with disabilities having an alternative pathway to earn a diploma!

 

When:    Thursday, May 22, 2013

Upon Adjournment of the full Senate (around 10:00 a.m.)

 

Where:  Senate Education Committee

              Louisiana State Capitol, Baton Rouge 

 

What:     HB1015 would allow some students with disabilities to have an alternative pathway to earn a diploma based on progress indicated by their IEP team.

 

What you can do:

  • Come to Senate Education Commmittee this Thursday dressed in purple to support the change in Louisiana policy.
  • Let Senators on the Senate Education Committee know that you want to see changes to Louisiana policies.  HB1015 will provide students with disabilities a pathway to promotion and a diploma.
  • Share this with friends and other advocates.  Invite them to join LaTEACH! www.lateach.org.
