ACTION ALERT UPDATE - Attend Yellow Shirt Day in the Senate Chamber Tomorrow at 12:30 pm

  

 
HB1 will be considered by the full Senate tomorrow, Wednesday, May 28th. Senators will have the opportunity to amend the bill or pass it as reported by the Finance Committee.  

 

Advocates who support the restoration of funding to the 
Individual and Family Support Program and Families Helping Families Centers across our state are encouraged to attend

Yellow Shirt Day at the Capitol TOMORROW at 12:30 p.m.

 

  • Contact your LaCAN Team Leader if you would like to attend. 
  • Carpooling options may be available in your area.  
  • Wear yellow! This will identify you as being in support of disability services. LaCAN shirts are available upon request. 
  • The Senate will convene at 1:00 p.m. 
  • Advocates should arrive by 12:30 p.m. to ensure you get a seat in the Senate Chamber. These seats will fill up fast! 
  • The Senate Chamber is located on the first floor on the left side of the Capitol building.
