We received disappointing news!
Buckleberry Chintz was delayed until late July! The reason is that a color match needed to be perfected! We are looking forward to this collection arriving! They say good things come to those that wait!
We know Henry Glass's website says shipping now, but trust me. We reached out to Michelle and her inside design team to verify.
The good news is that Michelle is putting the finishing touches on two new patterns for the line that are the perfect combination of applique and piecing: they offer enough applique to appeal to those who LOVE applique but not so much as to deter those who are new to the applique technique. Who better to learn applique from than Michelle Yeo?
But in the meantime, Lydia's Lace by Betsy Chutchian has arrived and it did not disappoint! Quilters love great indigos and reds and it's all about the traditional vintage looks. Blue and white remain a top choice for quilting combos and, of course, with the 4th of July around the corner, red, white, and blue are ever popular. There are some GREAT reds~and of course if you are a brown lover(don't laugh!), there is a strong contingent of browns!
Lydia's Lace appears to be a follow-on fabric line to her extremely popular previous group, Maria's Sky. You may find patterns she introduced for that collection, will work nicely with her new group.
