Drinks & Dialogue - Thursday, January 16, 6:30-8:00pm: Tanya Pietrkowski, Director of Development of CARPLS (Coordinated Advice and Referral Program for Legal Services) and the Honorable Catherine Schneider will talk about issues facing unrepresented litigants in the courts.  The judge is expected to be the main speaker, but Tanya will also tell us a little about CARPLS (a non-profit).  Grab your seat early at  Shanahan's, 7353 Madison,  Forest   Park, and bring a friend!  

Women's Rally and March  - Mark your calendar for Saturday, January 18, when we will join other members and partner organizations for a rally and march in Chicago. Meet at the LWV IL Offices, 332 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, at 10:30am. to organize and get posters. Leaguers are encouraged to wear red!
