Women's March - LWV Rockford will be sponsoring a Women's March, Saturday, January 19, from Noon-2:00pm. The march will start at Rockford City Market, 124 N. Water Street, and end at Davis Park, 320 S. Wyman Street. A rally will follow the march. Check out their Facebook page for more details.

Candidate Forums - Letters will be going out this week to invite candidates in Oak Park municipal races to a candidate forum. Contested races in Oak Park are the Park Board, Village Trustee, and School District #97 and #200. The Library Board is uncontested and there is no Township race. Dates and locations are being firmed up for all the River Forest contested races in addition to the Forest Park Mayoral and Commissioner races. We will keep you posted on these events in the upcoming weeks.  Help will be needed at the forums, so please consider volunteering when asked. 

Deputy Registrars - This is another reminder to sign the new   DR Oath and send it in to the Cook County Clerk's Office. Your certification expired at the end of November in 2018.
