This one-woman play stars actress Elaine Bromka, who channels former first ladies Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon and Betty Ford. Tickets are $25 for our fundraiser and are available here. Our third Candidate Forum started off with some technical difficulties but ultimately was an informative afternoon with the six candidates for the Oak Park-River Forest High School Board. Thanks to the Oak Park Library staff, Rashmi Swain and Bridget Optholt, again for their techno support skills. The D200 Forum recording will be posted to our website this week. Former member, Dianne Ghertner, passed away last Wednesday. Dianne chaired our Children and Youth Committee from 2012-2015. She also served a term as an Oak Park Library Trustee. Our condolences go out to her family.
