TOMORROW, February 10: Prayer Retreat #2

The 3-in-1 Prayer Retreat held January 13 was so successful and so spiritually fulfilling, the congregations of all three language groups were unanimous in wanting to do it again! And we are! It runs from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday in the Family Life Center, 2nd Avenue North and D Street. Come see and experience what God is up to!

Coming Sunday – 9:30 a.m.

There was this amazing mountain top journey, two of Jesus’ “everyday” and “common” disciples experienced it. Peter blurted out some awkward words in his ignorance, not really grasping what was happening. But there was God suddenly there, speaking to them! And that’s Pastor Donna’s sermon Sunday, “Noticing God in everyday life!”.

Pray and get ready for a spirit filled Sunday service at LWNaz!

If you can’t be there, join our video streaming by going to our website at: www.lwfnazarene.org or by going to YouTubewww.youtube.com/@lwfnazarene.

Coming Sunday – February 25 – Faith Promise Sunday with Missionaries Terence and Ingrid Lustaña

You are going to thoroughly enjoy seeing, listening, and being inspired by Terence and Ingrid Lustaña who are Nazarene missionaries with some remarkable experiences they will be sharing with us.

Terence is originally from the Philippines, while Ingrid grew up in South Florida at our Hollywood Nazarene church in Broward County.

The Lustañas have three beautiful children: Julie (3), Lukas (2) and Eliana (now 3 weeks old)

Our Faith Promise is an annual mission event Sunday. We will be asking everyone to make a “Faith Promise” Commitment for world missions for the next year. Please be in prayer for the Lustañas as they prepare to visit with us and say an extra prayer for Ingrid who delivered Iliana via a “C-Section” just 3 weeks ago!

We also plan to have one of our famous “Sunday Mission International Potluck” lunch on that Sunday. What is your favorite “International” dish you’d like to share? The Lustañas will be giving a very informal presentation during lunch and will be answering your questions.

During the luncheon we would like to “Shower” the Lustañas with a host of gift cards from our congregation to assist them with their new baby and help them as they prepare to return to the mission field.  Between now and February 25 could you purchase 1 or more gift cards for them from: Amazon, Target, and/or Walmart

It’s going to be a tremendous Mission Sunday!
