Management approached JNESO to discuss adjustments to the wage scale. However, prior to sitting down with JNESO, management alerted membership to this possibility prior to providing an official proposal to the Union. This was unacceptable and caused much confusion among the members.
JNESO met with management early this week and received a formal proposal. This proposal does include adjustments to the current wage scale but also INCLUDES CHANGES TO HOW OVERTIME IS CALCULATED, PERFORMANCE REVIEW, THE ABILITY TO TAKE PTO, AND THE DURATION OF THE CURRENT AGREEMENT.
To fully vet this proposal, JNESO has requested follow-up information needed to adequately make a proper counter-proposal. We will continue to provide updates regarding this issue.
